Logic Pro's AI Mastering Assistant - Introduction
Hi there and welcome to this video. I'm going to show you how to use Logic Pro's mastering assistant. So this uses A I to master your songs. This is available on Logic Pro 10.8 and above. So if you're using Logic Pro 10.8 or Logic Pro 11, then you can use mastering assistant to master your music. However, if you're not Logic Pro user, then I recommend skipping this video. OK. So here we have the song that we worked on previously had the drum part, bass part, keyboard part and vocals. Now, let's master this. We have Logic Pros mastering assistant. So this is actually included on the stereo out. So you can see here we have the inspector open and on the plug in here, it says mastering. So if we double click on this, this will open the mastering assistant. So this will analyze your music and we'll master it. You can also access the mastering assistant via the mixer by pressing this button here. And you can see we have the stereo out in the mixer and we can access the mastering assistant he...
re as well. The mastering assistant allows you to get your mixes, sound and polished and ready for streaming services or wherever you want to send your music. So this is the instant way to get your music mastered. I haven't fully mixed a song as that's ready for another course, but I've adjusted the volume slightly and I've added reverb to the vocals to give it a quick mix. Also, I've attached this exact logic pro project as a resource so you can download this and use the exact one as me or you can apply the techniques taught in this lesson to your own mixers. OK. So let's have a quick look at this mastering assistant. So instantly it's done some changes. Let's just play this back and I'm going to bypass and enable this plug in with this button up here.
