AI Mastering in Your Web Browser with Landr

Hi there and welcome to this video. I'm going to show you A I mastering with Lander Lander is a music production platform that specializes in mastering. They do have their own mastering login. But on this video, I'm going to show you how to get A I masters in your web browser. So right now I'm on lander.com. I'm going to hover over to mastering here. You can see we have online mastering and Lander's mastering plug in for this video though, we're going to look at online mastering to do this though. You will need to sign into Lander and here I'm signed in on my Lander account to download the masters. You will need to be subscribed to Lander, which isn't free, but you can get free previews of the master. Lander does have a monthly and annual subscription and it is quite reasonably priced, especially compared to hiring mastering engineers. Ok. Let me just quickly show you now how to upload your track or mix. So, under mastering, let's click on upload a track now. So here we have the differ...

ent accepted file formats. For my example, though I'm going to upload a WAV. So I'm going to upload the quick mix of the upbeat song that we made previously. It may take a few moments to upload and process. So you can see here it's analyzing the music. It also detects a genre and subgenre. It also uses A I plugins and technology to master your song. I have sped this video up that does take a few minutes to process and analyze this audio. OK. Now it's all done and we can click on listen. So if this pop up here, we can listen to the master or the original and we can also volume match these. So sometimes if the track is louder, it will sound better. So if you volume match they will be at the same level. OK, then we have Lander and reference for this. We're just going to use Lander. If we click on reference, then we can upload a reference song and the A I generated master will be based on the reference song. For this example, we're not using a reference song. So let's go back and select Lander, then we can choose a style. So here we can choose between three different styles. If we select warm, then this would give us vintage warmth with soft compression for thick smoother sound or we can choose balanced, this will be controlled with focus on balance, clarity and depth or we can choose open, this will give us a modern open sound with emphasis on punch and presence So let's just play this back and swap between these three different styles. And it'll also swap between the original and the master. So we can play back by pressing this button here. You feel it? I'm never gone. I let you go will always, so you can hear it's much quieter when we have original selected. So let's now check, volum match, you feel it. I'm never gonna let you go. I will always, always, for this example though, let's select balanced, then we can choose loudness. So with this, we can set the master's loudness by default, this will be our medium, but we can also choose high or low. Let's play this back and I'll swap between these three different loudness settings. You feel it. You long for this example though, let's keep on the default of medium. Now let's click on crate master. Then we can choose the format MB three WAV or HD WAV. I'd normally choose WAV as this is the industry standard for distribution. However, if you want a smaller file size, you could choose MB three, but the quality won't be as high. We also have HD WAV, which should be more high resolution. But for this example, I'm just going to choose WAV as it is a standard for distribution, then we can press continue which will download a master if we subscribe to Lander. OK. So that's online mastering with Lander. This gives you studio quality A I mastering in your web browser. So thanks for watching this video and I hope you found it useful.
