How to Create AI Vocals with Synth V Studio Basic - Part 1: Importing + Verse 1

OK. So in this part, we are gonna add an A I voice to our song. We've already written lyrics, we've got a chord progression, we've got melodies and now it's time to make that sound as professional as we can using an A I vocal. So for this part, the software we're gonna be using is the synthesizer, the studio series. And we're gonna be looking at the basic edition which is free and you can do up to three tracks within your project. So you download that as a piece of software and then you open it up. OK? So we downloaded it and you need to provide an email address which obviously you can un unsubscribe from if you don't wanna be on their email list. And then once you have downloaded the software and owned it up, this is what you're faced with where it asks you to install a voice database. So we're gonna be using the feature, limited trial voices. So let's download and install, OK? And now you have your voices set up and you're able to select the different voices here. We've got three her...

e. We've got Delyn Ri and Richie. So what we need to do is give the program some information so that it can then create the A IA I vocal. So we're gonna go to file and import and we're gonna go back to downloads where we have untitled song. Number one, we've got the midi information from melody studio. So we're gonna open that up and we just need track two, which was just the melody. We don't need the chords. So we're gonna press. OK. And there we have the melody in and let's play it and see what it sounds like. Oh, first, actually, sorry, we need to select a vocalist. Let's have a listen to it. La la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la la. So what I think is quite cool here is it's naturally providing a bit of a bend into the notes. So they, when in your chorus, the la la la, there's a nice little bend on that s second d note that's being sung, which I think is really cool. OK. So now we've got the melody inputted. We now need to input the lyrics. So what we need to do is to go through each syllable and add the syllable to the melody notes within the uh piano roll. So all you have to do is double click on the note and then you can type in the syllable that you want. OK. So we have inputted all of the uh lyrics for the first two lines into the piano role. And we're gonna specifically pick this vocalist here, Richie FLT because that is the one that seems to be more for English language. So let's have a listen to that and see how it sounds. I want you to know that I love you. I know you feel it too. OK? So a lot of that sounding pretty cool. There are different edits that we can do to make it feel a little bit more lifelike in some ways. So one thing that I was thinking was some of the longer notes, potentially you might have a little gap between them and then the next syllable. So I'm just gonna try moving this a little bit on. No, and see how that sounds. I want you to know that I love you. I know you and I probably do it on the word you as well. Keep that a bit shorter. I want you to know that I love you. I know you feel it too and I'd probably do the same for two as well. You feel it too. So let's have a listen to that one more time. See how we feel about it. I want you to know that I love you. I know you feel it too.
