How to strategically improve your website using Hotjar
So how to strategically better your profit and sales funnel using Hot Jar. So Hot Jar if you don't know already is a platform where you can basically add some code to your website or web page and you can see exactly what clients are clicking on and looking at and reading before they book a call with you or ultimately book one of your packages. Now, this code when added to the website gives you an incredible amount of data and behavioral data to allow you to better your website and refine it in order to get a better conversion rate. For example, let's make things super simple if you had 10 people come to your website and one person ended up booking a call with you, that will be a conversion rate of around 10 per cent, which to be completely honest with you is actually pretty good. Now, if you're getting a conversion rate of 10 per cent and you double that to 20 per cent, you could essentially double your revenue in one single move, which by anyone's estimations is a pretty decent result...
. Now, in order to double your conversion rate, if that was the equation and what was actually happening that could be done in a multitude of different ways. But if you don't understand what's happening on your web page, then you can't really make those decisions and you can't understand what's going right and what's going wrong. You can end up fiddling around with things and actually changing something that's doing well on your web page instead of something that's maybe confusing the customer or client or maybe even knocking them off and making them leave the website altogether. So what I suggest is to add Hot Jar to your website if you haven't got it on there already and then understand where your web traffic is coming from what they're doing when they actually come to your web page. And lastly, if anything, what is stopping them from converting into either a lead or a meeting or a paid customer. If you can assess this on a biweekly or monthly basis, you're going to consistently be improving your sales funnel and consistent, bettering your website, which is ultimately going to leave you with a much better sales funnel and a far better conversion rate. I have absolutely zero affiliation with Hot Jar. I just use it and I love it for both my businesses and also for my clients' companies. So feel free to check it out. And obviously there's tons of videos on youtube and stuff if you want to learn a little bit more about it before obviously installing it into your website. But I hope you enjoy this lesson and I will see you again very soon.
