Action - Select a Single FBA Warehouse
in this video, we're going to select a single amazon FB. A warehouse. And what that means is how your account is normally set up Is distributed. And what that means is Amazon is saying, Hey, if you want to send us those 100 dog leash is great. We're gonna choose three or four different fulfillment centers and send X amount of dog leashes to this center, Maybe 50 dog leashes to this center and so on. And that can make things very complicated. Your supplier is not going to be able to ship X amount of dog leashes to one facility and X amount to another facility. And so what we can do is we can change this setting inside of amazon to say, hey we're gonna shape you all 100 of these double dog leashes to one warehouse and I know it's going to cost me a little bit extra but it's up to you amazon to distribute that product between your different warehouses. So if you open up your resource packet, you can click on number nine which is selecting a single FBI warehouse and this just walks you thr...
ough the process. But I'm also gonna walk you through it right now so you don't need this resource but we just created it because why not? So what you're gonna wanna do is open up your amazon seller central account hover over settings in the top right hand side and click on fulfillment by amazon here, you're gonna wanna look to inbound settings and click on edit and we're looking at this inventory placement option we're going to want to click on inventory placement service. And as you can see, it says, all quantities of single seller's Q. Will be assigned to a single fulfillment center and that's what we want and a per unit service fee applies. But it's a little bit, it's not that big of a fee and it's definitely worth it. There really is no other option here for us. So we're gonna click on update and that's it.
