Class Project 13 - Effects
All right. It's class project time. This is the effects project. I want you to go through and apply at least one of the four different effects to different parts of your own design, then take a screenshot and upload it. OK? Both the assignments slash projects and also on social media. I love to see what you made, even if you decide that you're not going to use background blur or layer blur kind of in your final design, just apply it here. Now practice it, use it, go off and find other tutorials on how to do layer blurs and background blurs to see if you might find some more interesting use cases for it experiment. And in that same vein, I want you to do one of the numeric kind of designs. It might be a button, it might be some sort of interface just to kind of practice mainly of using uh using F imas effects, even if you decide like I am against it. I am one of the people on the picket line say no to num design. That's OK. I just want you to practice it because it can be pretty come on...
if you're doing it as well, don't just use my kind of settings with two shadows left and right. Top and bottom one's white, one's black, go off and have a look at other tutorials. Ok. Other, other people's kind of versions of it come up with your own. It might be a stroke. It might be, you know, have a look through. You're like I want to try and copy that one or this one. Find tutorials. Give it a go take a screenshot, upload it. I'd love to see what you make. If you do follow somebody else's tutorial, it's um you know, uh when you are sharing it, like say on social media, OK, make sure you share the link to the tutorial as well to help other people out. They might be like, man, that is awesome. How did you do it? Because you're gonna get it and explain if you did it yourself, maybe explain the settings, maybe screenshot it. If you kind of started with somebody else's and made adjustments, maybe a link to their tutorial would be helpful as well. I'm not sure why we're back here, but we are all right effects, go off, practice them. I can't wait to see what you make.
