Hello and welcome to this section all about writing melodies. So the drums, the bass and the chords, they're the fundamentals. They're what we call the rhythm section in a jazz band. But what we need to write now is melodies, melodies are extremely important. This is what people will be singing in their heads weeks or even months to come after they hear your music.
