All right guys here's the closing one the closing speech is thank you for coming big time some of you flew here some of you had to fly family members to baby sit some of you drove for five minutes it's fantastic I'm going to be brutally honest I love the photography industry a lot I am one of those guys that doesn't feel sorry for people when they complain I'm also one of those guys that doesn't to feel like I feel sorry for myself because I'm full of excuses photographers are wonderful people but sometimes we get frustrated with ourselves and we try to fill our minds with excuses so we feel better about ourselves we say we don't have any good clients my clients are not good looking my clients are not skinning my clients are not supermodels we have a lot of different things happening like this um I don't have money for expensive pro photo lights or brown color lights or ellen crumb lights and I've heard it all you know I think that if you cloud your head with excuses you just don't giv...
e your head room to improve in anything I also say if you enjoy natural light and you don't want to use flash that's perfectly fine that's totally your style you have the prerogative to do that too but be the best darn natural light person you can be but if you if that choice limits you if that choice of never using flash limits you, then I think that's really too bad I feel like you should never limit your creativity because you don't want to use a flash because you're not you don't use flashes I'm like as a photographer you supposed to be an artist you're supposed to create so the line that I want to say strongly the people is prioritize a lighting vision over a lighting style that means when you go into a photo shoot if you see a vision like I had a vision with her strings flying around on frozen in the air this is a photographic vision I need flash is to create this vision okay? So if you prioritize having a lighting vision over a lighting style you open up the door tto many, many more possibilities on if you have knowledge offspeed lights and strokes on you choose not to use them not to use that skill that's perfectly fine that's your choice but at least you have this skill just like people that say I don't like to post because I like it when it's organic which really means you don't know how to post but um if you don't want a post your clients, my suggestion to us don't tell people's not your style why don't you learn how to post people well so it looks like fluid it looks natural it looks beautiful because if the organic moment off her putting on her shoe is like this, if I don't get how organic it is, it's just not going to be you're just not gonna make it, you know, it's gonna be a problem for you if you're taking a portrait of someone and they're standing like this and you're like, well, that was natural that's, organic. Okay, my suggestion is learn how the post howto post a human body, and if you choose not to use that skill, then that's a choice you make but don't make it an excuse because of your lack of skill don't say, well, I don't know how to put it if you really don't know how to oppose, don't say it's because I know my style it's like learn how to post on then you say or don't use it, but at least you have that skill. The point of all of this is don't put yourself in little little pockets off limitations no your stuff. Open your mind off all the possibilities and let you be the one that chooses what you want to do and what you don't want to do.

Im sitting in my office listening to Roberto with my earplugs on and I know I have already left 2 reviews but he's so funny…. my family comes into the office asking me "whats so funny" Roberto makes me laugh out loud with his jokes but at the same time, he is SO great at teaching. Im watching for second time to make sure all his good info is ingrained. HIGHLY recommend you take his workshop on Picture Perfect Lighting if you truly want to take your photography to the next level! WOW thats 3 reviews now…can you tell I am impressed

I'm taking a portrait photography course at NYIP online. one of the mentors there recommended the posing book by Roberto. I ended up ordering at the library the posing and the perfect practice book. I fell in love with both books...ended up buying them and signing up here for the year membership just so I can take all of his photos courses. I spent most of my weekend doing perfect lighting course here I am in love with the way that he teaches! He makes something so difficult and challenging for me make sense. I also like that he challenges us photographers to be true professionals. I am thrilled to have discovered Roberto and already noticed my photography is better in the short time that I've been studying him.
