Overview of Supplies

I'm really excited you we are doing mixed media on wood today in this class we're going to learn a little bit about dekel bashing and then we're going to learn a little bit about jess. Oh, and then we're going to do a lot of fun hands on stuff with doodling, so be prepared we're going to use your handwriting and things like that so should be a really good class plus we're going to learn how to use paper clay and molded to create a fun little piece to add at the end so I'm going to really, really quickly run through our supplies just so that everybody here knows that they have it and that everybody at home can kind of see when we say these things, what it is and what it looks like so the first thing we're going to use is this is the best word round and so this is just an unfinished piece of the best one that we got from walnut hollow who's sponsoring the class, so thank you to them next we're going to be using gel otto's, which are these lovely little things right here it's not ice crea...

m I wish itwas so which we could say ice cream but it's kind of like a I would say cran mixed with water color and I just love it I don't know how else to describe it but I love those um you know, in a water brush, so we're going to use a water brush today to help spread the color around and then we're going to be using quick, dry, tacky clue at some point to it hear things on um and are deco podge, of course, because I have to have deck apologized to build our base, so we're going to use that teo as, like, a glue that we're going to use to put all of our pieces of paper down with and then some phone brushes air critical to me, I use them for everything we have a pen, so this is our life, and we're going to use this after the break for doodling and then just some little things like bakers twine, some feathers and, um eh, pam boo skewer of all things, we've got this craft amount, so we're going to use to help mold are clay on and then our paper clay, we've got a paper clay we're gonna be using and some clear just so so those air, all of the supplies that we should need for this class, everybody look good, okay? So first thing we're going to dio is we've got some I guess I did forget to mention papers, we need paper, so we got some vintage papers that were going to use and then this is just some a craft colored wrapping paper with a little pattern on it. So if you want to throw something a little bit different or funky, and you can use that to.
