Let's Talk About Sales
This last section is the most important part about the Facebook training where we will talk the least about Facebook. The irony of that. And it's about sales. And I genuinely believe that the majority of entrepreneurs have never been trained on sales. Everyone thinks that sales is this natural thing that you have or you don't have, and that's not true. Some people are better at starting conversations and maybe a little bit more practiced in creating relationships, but sales is practice, like anything else. And so I'm hoping to give you today some things that you can practice, like actual scripts, different methods, different ways that you can sell your butt off, because sales right now is stopping you from hitting all your goals. And I don't know if you guys have heard this before, but if right now you have a problem, being quote-unquote "pushy." Anybody ever dealt with that? Raise your hand if you've dealt with that. ushiness. When you focus... You feel what you're focused on. We all agree with that, yes? You feel what you're focused on? So when you're focused on I don't wanna make this person uncomfortable with pushing my product. I don't want this person to feel like I'm annoying them. I don't want to feel annoying. And that's what's in your mind. That's what makes you recoil, and that's what makes you not close the sale. But when you switch your perspective. I have it tattooed on my wrist, the word perspective. When you switch your perspective to wow, as a result of this person buying my product or service, they're going to be genuinely better off, then everything changes, because now it's your duty to push them. If you really believe to your core, like I do right now, I believe to my core people are genuinely better off taking this five-day training, buying my training, studying what I do, because I know the climate of entrepreneurship and people who don't know, understand social media advertising are going down, then what I'm selling, I am saving. And because I own that in my business, it gives me all the confidence to be pushy, or to smile and look at the camera and say, "Click that button next to here and buy," because that's my duty. That's my obligation. That's what I believe in. And literally some of you just forget that about yourself. You've been solopreneuring it too long, where you're locked into a room, you don't really get the feedback 'cause we're all online so you miss that human interaction, and you forget that every single one of you are changing lives. And maybe that's taking photos for someone and capturing the most important memory of their life. That's life-changing. So you need to identify how your product or service is serving somebody and own that. And if your product or service isn't serving someone, get outta that business, 'cause that's when you're being a scam artist or a ripoff or something along those lines, or suffering from imposter syndrome and things like that. Cool? Make sense? So that's the opening for the day. I went a little heavy on you. Now we can talk shit and laugh and stuff, okay? So, sales. Relationship.

Billy powerfully challenges us to redefine what we think of as the purpose of sales and our role as business owners. Getting to hear from him how sales is a process of having a product so beneficial that your customer is better off with it than without it is a tremendously powerful sales mindset. Also, I never knew how important it was to stack additional offers/upsells for my services. I'm feeling confident that I won't be going out of business anytime soon!
