Creating Your Landing Page
So if I had to reverse engineer that page you just saw, the headline was, "Want me to send you a coupon for a free "scoop of Italian ice?" The offer was explained in the video, but then we also told them more about the benefits underneath image. At each image as I showed you earlier. And then their call to action was, "Yes! "Send me my bogo coupon!" The other thing with call to action buttons. One thing I can tell all of you. Do not use the word submit. (laughing) Don't do it. Because it's just boring. You can do it. It's fine in some cases. And in rare cases, it actually makes sense, but most of the time, when they're clicking the button to finally do that one thing that you want them to, you want them to be excited about it. So we say, "Yes! "Send me my bogo Coupon!" We pretty much make it impossible to say, "No" to. 'Cause who says, "no", to that, like course you're gonna, it's just you'd be weird if you didn't want that, 'kay. Software that we use. I think it's worth bringing up to...
you guys. I want everyone to write this down, it's Clickfunnels, right? And what it allows you to do is to build these landing pages, like by dragging and dropping. Like a fifth grader can do it straight up, and I'm not exaggerating 'kay? And so, here's what it looks like. You come here and they give you an example of templates. You can literally just click one of the templates. It's already pre filled out. Then you just click on the section that you want to change, and change the words. So for example, if this was your landing page, you would just click the headline, The Simple Trick To Insane Conversions, and just change it to whatever you want to for your business, or click the background and just change the color. Everyone at home, is this a helpful resource for anyone? Seems like it'll save you some damn time from doin' all this crazy stuff and watching these crazy tutorials or hiring expensive designer. I think so, 'kay? So that's what I want you guys to do, is... What is that? Oh this is a call to action button example. Cool, after you make that, you hit save and voila, you're landing page is created. When we were doing my agency and we were all hands on that, we used to focus on franchises, so every franchise was pretty much the same thing in a different location, so to build an advertising campaign for these franchises from start to finish, it took us one hour. 'Cause we literally just copy and paste the program, and then change the location inside of Facebook and that's it. But why did the customer not care? 'Cause they cared about the results, not the landing page. They cared about the number of leads they were getting, the number of sales that they were making, okay? And so what you guys have to understand, is that your sales process doesn't stop after the first action, and this is why a lot of people go out of business, meaning you just get caught up on selling one thing. Like let's say you sold these thermoses. You just sell this thermos and that's it. This is the reason why most people strike out, because remember, assuming that every time someone clicks one of your ads, it costs a dollar, and your product costs 10 bucks, and after you take in your cost to build it, ship it, and all of that, there's probably about seven bucks of margins. That means, to even break even from a cost per click, you would need to close one out of seven clicks. It will never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever happen. The math makes it impossible. So the people that win are the people that say, "You know what? "Let's just make the thermos our hook. "Let's just make the thermos our way to get people's "attention, and let's just give it away for free "or for a discounted price, "or for a couple bucks, just enough money, "and then let's make all of our money on the back end." 'Cause if you need a thermos, you're also probably gonna go camping and you need a backpack, and on your camping trip, you're also gonna need a fishing pole, and then you're also going to need blah blah blah blah blah. This is how you see all the biggest brands do it, but small brands never implement. So where am I going with this? I'll show you in the form of an exercise.

I've been looking for that boost, that little step up to actually say I know how to market my products. Yes, you'll learn Facebook ads, but there is so much more brilliant info that will increase your sales, upsells etc. One of those CL courses that deliver way beyond what's promised in the title. Thank you Billy Gene - this has been SO helpful!

Billy powerfully challenges us to redefine what we think of as the purpose of sales and our role as business owners. Getting to hear from him how sales is a process of having a product so beneficial that your customer is better off with it than without it is a tremendously powerful sales mindset. Also, I never knew how important it was to stack additional offers/upsells for my services. I'm feeling confident that I won't be going out of business anytime soon!

The most helpful Creative Live class I've taken so far! Rather than just running through the technical stuff of FB advertising, he actually gets into the nitty gritty of writing sales copy for a target demographic. Loved it
