And I want actually want to go ahead and hot see a couple people and identify some carryover who wants to be read even started martha do you wanna come up? You haven't been hot hopeful martha area okay, so tell us what's your design intention what are you working on this's where I'm really flummoxed because I've been the rose goal has been a good seller but it too much more feminine and what I'm really drawn to is nature and gemstones and presenting those in a way that's not prissy like these bracelets the multi strand like one of the right that um and makes the materials in there with you know the pearls in the gemstone and then so you can have even if it did it in a pink stone like rose court it would be pink but it wouldn't be prissy ok, so I'm kind of lost a toe where to go? So have you so you didn't even set you see inside your design intention yet correct design doctor what's your design intention uh forget what you wrote down something what one was tio present the passion I have...

around nature and its beauty and then I thought, well, something more pragmatic way have intention that you can fulfill what type of product what air you right? So the next one was to present more pieces that incorporate rose gold and gemstones so really looking at how you can pull together the thing that's working with what you're most excited about and I do have a lot of pieces that air that are rose gold and not the's those the better just more straight rose gold but a lot of drop earrings that like chris appraise one road down they're not one okay? So it's the beautiful gemstone but mixing overthrows going so is that what you're thinking you want to do for you next collection is do more of that you seem very not excited what are you excited about? I'm excited about about gemstones, okay, not so much procedural flowers on rose gold ok, so then let's drop that out. So what you're really decided about is working with the gemstones more ok, so we're gonna give you permission to sort of get away from some of that and this is actually something that we're going to talk about. But you know, if you have a collection that doesn't feel like you, even if it's selling its ok to get rid of it if it's holding back your development. And so even though that's the thing that's working if it's not working for you let it go so all right, so your intention is that you want to develop more work with gemstones and you have a price point that you want to hit do you feel like is it possible that maybe can you think about your rose gold stuff is a lower price point right? So it might be at the rose gold stuff is selling because it's hitting a price one that the gemstone pieces or not so could your design attention potentially be too play with gemstones in a way that aren't prissy but hits that price point as well as you know you could go higher to cause higher gives you more room to play? We all know that hires more fun? Is that something you could think about? You know I'm does that feel urges not feel like the right challenge I want to get out of that price. Well, yeah, I want I'm happy if if that price point is something that makes sense, fine, but I don't want to keep shooting low perfect, then we'll get rid of that one too. All right? And I would like tio I would like to incorporate the rose gold with the gem stones but just not sticking straight ah, straight medal, you know, saying so what you're saying? So instead of sticking straight not sure school back up for second? Yep, the top row yeah, those third to the little rose hearing, so so a lot they they're pretty they don't throw me and so that's what I want to get away from yes, perfect so are you making the metal pieces? Are you making your components or you assembling? I'm assembling, ok, for the most part, okay? And that kind of where you want teo, stay ok, so so because you have you have the skill set to be making as a quote, like making more metal components? Well, I do some fine silver suffering and I'm silver work, but not gold. Okay, so so do you feel like you have to do the gold? Because that's what selling or is that actually what you want to be away? I like all the medals, but it's ok it's ok to, like all of them? It just I do like rose gold. Okay, all right, so what I would say is then, you know, let's think about what you can carry over, so it sounds like the rose gold becomes your carry over, but then how do you kind of employees that with what I'm hearing you say about gemstones is kind of your intention? And I heard you say your inspiration was ocean and color blocking and movement. They could recall that's because they're really strong visuals, so I could picture it as soon as you said it. So how do you think that you can carry over what's working in a way that employees these new pieces that makes sense for the rose gold to carry over doesn't make sense for something else to be your carry over, maybe it's not that maybe we're ditching the rose gold, and you've decided that what you're going to carry over is labrador, right? Because that feels like the ocean and movement, and then you can use that as a starting point to pull in color blocking sony that becomes your carry over. You know, I think one of the things that and then I liketo share with people are kind of emphasize is that you don't have to do everything, and the brands that become recognizable are the ones that pick signature elements. So if you look at todd reid, are you familiar, tawdry the jeweler? So he started in the art jewelry world, and now he has a store in santa monica, I think he's, based in colorado and he's starting to be really warning, like the high fine fashion things his entire business was built around his use of raw dime, and at the time when he started, he was pretty much the only one using them. And so he said, I am going to make this my stone, and everyone within a certain community knows when you hear raw diamonds, you think todd reed and that's actually what I did with the contract collection if I could have bought a million types of stones, but I said, I'm going to pick one stone and I'm gonna own it. So even though that limits you in one way, if you couldn't find something you fall in love with, you can carry it over and in your case, because you're thinking about color blocking, you could say, I'm gonna pick one stone that I love that's going to feature in everything in this new collection, and then I play with color blocking, because then I can add in a secondary stone that gives me that color blocking element to see how that carry over works. I see your brain turning, and what way is a polyamorous around jim stones and that there's a good convey a color family that I'm just hungry for, like, I'm thinking more chris appraise, which is lunch and then a bunch of laboratory right now, so right, so also so here's, the other thing that I want to point out is that I'm not asking you to marry any stone forever, I'm asking you to pick a focus. For this design intention, and then when you get to the next collection, you can decide what carries over again and what carries over again. So for this one, it's okay to be polyamorous. But for this one, I want you to commit for one moment and one design intention to something that's going to build a consistency in your collection. I understand. So what, which want what's it going to be? I'm gonna make you publicly declare it, um, I'm thinking the christian prayers, all right, yeah, I think that's, where began that still feels very ocean and lets you play with color block and lets you do many, many things. So I think that's, a perfect choice and that's, why you're gonna carry over and you're gonna think about your inspiration and then perfect, thanks. Thank you, martha.
