Macro Photo iPhone Photography
There's another interesting element of photography that the IPhone 10 does so well. And that's what it called macro photos. That's another just fancy word in photography for close up. So there's a couple things that you should remember. One. Is that both lenses, whether it's the one x or two X when you're in the photo mode, both of those can get great close ups. I think you should experiment with that thing, too, is this is a really easy way to get a lot of somewhat interesting photographs when the lights not that great when it's even sort of cloudy, overcast. And when you sort of your subjects done and tired and you might want, like in this case soaring at the end of the day, he's been working super hard. But I was just dying to get a handful more photographs, and I started looking as Viking. There's all this really cool detail. The last thing you should know about macro photography the IPhone is It's so easy. It's literally just touching on the screen in the area that you want to be ...
in that crisp focus and then taking a couple of pictures. It's super easy I recommend you experiment between the one X and two X lands. And other than that, just play. Find some really interesting textures. I'm gonna go look for some stuff on his bike right now and demonstrate what I mean. Smile and one more time. Nice. Just picking up a couple of quick details here. Don't you Look at my friend Jake again. Let's move your bike over here real quick. You can, But there said on your bike. You look right here. It's money. Those miles. Yeah. Nice portrait mood right here, where they bring your chin around a little bit further. There you go. And grab on to your handle There. It's like that. Put your hand on your other grip, too. Nice. And put your foot on the pedal. Here, Get that medal in front of you. There you go. A little bit higher. Little bit higher. Well, there you go. And roll back just a little bit there. Turn your bar sideways a little bit. Awesome. Super good. And any other detail I want to get Have you just put your hands on your side? So that was awesome. Super easy. As you could see, I was just touching on the areas on the screen that I wanted to be in sharp focus. That also adjusted the exposure. If I wanted to different exposure than the phone was giving me automatically. I could just touch and hold and then slide up and down and you could see it get brighter and darker. That's just super easy way to get a lot of really cool photos that you wouldn't otherwise think of. I also I think it's worth remarking that as I was shooting those details, I did look up and see a little rim of light on his face. And so I moved in and got a couple. I wouldn't consider those macro shots because they're not totally close up, but just a couple of really close, intimate portrait. I did the same exact thing that I'm doing in the macro part where I'm where I'm looking at his bike tire. I take those same thoughts and I plan to taking a close up picture his face. I just touch on the area that I want to be in sharp focus and then I slide my finger up and down to get a great exposure hit the shutter a couple times, and I ended up with a handful of good shots. So in conclusion, don't forget about the macro element of taking pictures with the IPhone 10. It's so good at that, with both the One X and the two X lands. And incidentally, it's also really good in video mode, so play around that I think you'll really like what you get.

This is a fantastic kick start to giving you the fundamentals and inspiration to pick up your phone and start documenting the beauty around you, every day. Taking photos has become my favorite social expression now, given that I can do it without getting into politics or descending into the negative energy that infest social media. Taking photos can be 100% inspirational and positive and this course is a great beginning to makin that happen. Chase is a great instructor and you will walk away with more knowledge than you came in with. Perfect length of course also! Loved it!

Yes, you can find many if not all of the that stuff shown here somewhere else - probably for free. But in my opinion, this is a great class. Chase Jarvis does a really great job of sending the most important message of photography: The best camera is the one you have with you - and he shows me that the iPhone X camera is a very good camera. Take this class, be inspired - I think I will take better photos now :)

WOW! Just Wow! This class was not only very informative but also entertaining and kept moving right along. I loved how Chase teaches and would take a class from him any day. It was organized, yet very casual and natural. It was relevant and applied to not only iPhone X users but all iPhones too. I LOVED this class! Thank you!
