Coaching Time!

I'm really excited because I've been wanting to have some coaching time in this course and we've just been having such a great conversations we kind of passed right by it, so I really want to get just a bit more personal around the challenges that we have as renaissance souls around vampire voices around fears around the fact that, like we're probably untraditional people living in a very traditional world and so I love to goetz one up here from our audience either talk about renaissance old vampire voices sort of stuff really anything that you feel is like you're at the crossroads and now in this process and like, what is it that you're trying to get over should have asked for a volunteer earlier fun? Yes, is it ok? Yeah, probably come on up on julia, I'm no, not now, but thank you. Come in, teo teo, talk to michelle the coach it's so nice to be able to do some coaching during this course too, so glad to do it. Yeah, okay, so tell me, tell me, what brings you here? Uh, all the things ...

you've talked about pretty much I feel I'm at a crossroads I don't want to do what I'm doing anymore, I don't feel fulfilled with it, I don't feel it has any meaning I'm in advertising to see all know it's just it's not my passion and I made a place in my life where I feel like gosh, you know, I probably have lived more more than half of my life maybe and so it's time to just you know, do something I want to d'oh okay, so what's that I love it because I'm hearing that you're ready hearing that you're ready so a lot of the times we have to hear these voices for a while and we have to feel these feelings for a while and we have to resist the feelings and then we have to ignore the feelings and go through the seven stages of grief with the feelings but now you're back at b okay, now I'm ready so now what do you feel is holding you back, jack oh money, huh? Um fear of not being successful at it not being good enough on what if they reject me I don't have enough knowledge like for instance, to be the coach that I've talked about um well people actually pay to come see me, okay? So all of those vampire but a lot of your vampire voices so you were here when we worked on vampire voices? Yeah, I wasn't here but I heard it on, okay, I heard it on the so when you hear these voices right and we just go and spiral spiral spiral into like I'm gonna be a bag lady living on the street I'm not you know it's it's like our worst case scenario what do you think your worst case scenario would be right now? Well, I feel very blessed that I met my husband and so I don't think I'll be on the street okay, we could be on the streets but we have benefits medical hopefully that keeps his job and you would have each other yeah and a fun time maybe yeah I never had that before where I felt like okay, I'm in this with somebody you know they've got my back and I've got their back ok that's great I love that you're seeing that positive piece right away and you're trusting what you know you already have like this and I'm very lucky in the sense that he's supportive he's like honey but maybe you need to do what you want to do and we'll figure out the money piece but it also makes it scary because I'm actually more the breadwinner right now in our marriage than he is. So if I you know, veer from what I'm doing it's a big piece to replace like you know, I remember when you said your husband wanted youto make sixty thousand dollars in coaching on I well I wasn't again I kind of feel like that pressure what are you willing to compromise on in order to make this new dream of yours come true what would you be willing maybe to sacrifice or give up or or lesson this shop okay so not as much shopping and be willing to dio I won't give up our good food you do not have tio because I just feel it's so important um you know, I could give up like my shrink I want to take a right okay but yeah there's certain things I could give up like I certainly don't need to order things off am I is on you buy new shoes when they're on sale at macy's I don't think there's a lot of things I could cut out think about it too I like that you're thinking automatically money? How could I save money that's a piece but think about maybe even emotionally to write so I heard you say I'm the breadwinner right now, you know and it's so it seems like that's something you're attached to their a way that you could compromise on that or any of the emotional things that are not feeling like I'm in charge not feeling like what how can you? Maybe? I don't know say reconcile those feelings, but I think it's like, well, if I'm not the breadwinner, then I'm nobody is there a gray area there that that you could live in a little better doesn't make sense I think so I am when I was talking to you about this job earlier than I interviewed for one of the things I wrote down for, I think it was a vampire voice was, oh, my god, I'm not going to be the sales director, I'm not going to be that important person, you know, that I I think I am when I have that title eyes that kind of what you're doing. Yeah, well, this is interesting. I like how you answer that question because it kind of puts us, I think, in a new direction, so when you think about that and obviously I guess we unearth that control is a big thing for, you know, and status status, so we could say, right? So is that something you're willing to kind of let go of our compromise on a little bit at this point? I think so, because I'm so fed up with what I'm doing because even when I interviewed with that guy and I was like it's ah it's not only a marketing, but answering the phones and it's like an all encompassing position, like a person that I would consider sort of lower than mean status, which is terrible, but I was thinking well it could grow I could grow it I could be a spokesperson I could try toe so as long as I have that thought that I could grow it okay great so you feel okay so you could kind of lesson that grip is long as you know okay I'm not going to be be stuck in this position forever there's a place for me to grow and get that and if and if status and control is important to you and that's part of your values and that's okay that's okay and we know that that's where you want to be going towards but maybe it's something that you need thio lesson a little bit or loosen the reins on a little bit I'm curious if you um if you see yourself in a like a newer identity like this new andrea right that you see who's doing what she wants to be doing and who's doing possibly the coaching and the acting or hosting or even the selling here like yeah is she what is she like? What is that injury unlike tell us about her well, I think she's less stress, huh? Hey, I think she has morph fun, huh? She's happier in general and what she's doing she's maybe laughs more giggles she's just more easy going about that easy going interesting so what is that andrea tell you tell you did she tell you? Lighten up, lighten up. Yeah, lighten up and we're slow down. Oh, oh, interesting. Lighten up. Slow down. Yeah, yeah, because they tend, teo be rushing around, doing a million things, but not really getting anything done. Yeah, interest. And I just I also stress a lot about things, and I really don't have any control over s so it seems like, you know, you want to be president. You want to enjoy the ride, you want to slow down, you want a light? Not especially if you notice and I think this could be good homework for you if you're noticing what you can't control on dh that's where you're starting toe lessen your control and the status that you need and you know what if I can't control it, I'm gonna yeah, that's a piece that I'm working no, so that could be a really great baby stuff. Yeah, and I think having that picture in your mind of, like, thie the upcoming I'm waiting for you waiting in the wings, waiting in the wings, right? I mean, the pieces seems you just need to get back to that. I know what I was talking. Two earlier about maybe just doing some community theatre like why do I have tio you know, I'm kind of past that point where I'm gonna have the meryl streep career or that but why can't I just do some community here that's the part that's for fleeing and that's why I stopped acting because thie auditioning was not fun any more and I hated it and so I wasn't acting really it was, you know, waitressing this last auditioning, right? Right so I just decided that that wasn't what I wanted to really be doing so the acting piece I love so I'm here so I'm hearing now these things that you could start doing are considering to start stepping into the upcoming andrea so looking at community theatre roles and potential theaters, you could start maybe getting a relationship right and once theatres know you, we know the auditions aren't bad because you know, you might just call you right away or they might just let you go right to the callback or whatever, but you have that you have that need matt, right? Looking at things you can't control starting to release them, what else would that new upcoming? Andrea? I just think she'd be more free on dh spontaneous like, you know, if an idea came and like explorer don't don't just say no could never work hey, you know, just more open open minded I love this I love this. So does this help you? I have a better compass in order, teo just move forward with what you know you want to be yeah, I mean, it does I still get that scary feeling you will write you in it you always about like, oh my god, if I leave my current job and what is that going to mean financially? When is that going? But I think more and more as I start to realize that I could love something that I could love, what I dio and find a way to do it and just say, well, in the beginning, it's not gonna be enough money, maybe or we'll figure it out how to do it. And then I think once I love something, I could totally grow it and make it, you know, exciting, and I love that you can trust that yeah, I love that you could trust that and that's who you are and that's your track record and that's everything that you've accomplished than have spoken about here and haven't spoken about here. You know, I I know that, and I think hearing you talk about your husband to knowing you don't have to do this alone you want someone to do this with I like how you don't even get to your worst case scenario I was like, what is your worst case scenario we'll it's not gonna happen because my eye has insurance way don't even get there so like holding on to that and knowing how that way you could trust being loved and supported but you know, like this is now your new set of priorities so then the question is how do you get there so start with the community theater we could start going on that interview is a really big start because I know that the company was just more aligned with who you are so like the person I think it was yesterday second that said michelle, I can't just you know, pack up my bags and leave tomorrow and go live my live my new dream life so what do I do when I was like nobody could see nobody do that so instead you're kind of seeing this as a marathon and not a sprint and what is it the first step for you might be okay? I want a stable job right now while I explored the acting or the hosting the other things you wanna be doing but I could take what I'm doing now that I love and do it for a company that that really fits in with these skills you already talked about so it seems like that's that could be a good real next step for you and once you enjoy that job you could decide what you want to do all right? Trust that about yourself yea, yea, yea help that I'm finding is growing and, um kind of what we were talking a little bit of an advertising reminds me a lot of technology and one thing that's happening for women a lot is it meant to you I'm sure, but we're moving so fast that we're not having time to digest what we're good at, so you doing that exercise for us is a awesome but I had my one time I had an amazing manager who sat me down one day and was like a lot of the things that you do you think everybody knows how to dio like you need to realize that's a skill set like and so so just really wanting to break down the importance of because I feel like that there's this frantic, frantic kind of energy that it takes to be in a job like that and sometimes like I think that that was just could be so helpful to just sit down and really notice what you're good at and compare yourself with like a newbie in the group and and like see what you think you have kind of better than them without a judgmental way that doesn't help me and the pace that you want to sew, so hearing you talk of the advertising just seem stressful and there's control and I know my husband was in advertising is now at in a freelance capacity but is in that world and I I know about the fires that you know he puts out it midnight on a thursday for you know like web banners and just go what did me it makes no sense so you know like okay that just getting out of that environment is a step for you like a huge step for you teo upcoming andrea and what she wants so exciting yes jennifer I just have a quick logistical question like when when you are coaching somebody like that and you're thinking about okay I wonder if the first step because you've talked about this a few times I wonder if the first step is just changing to end another stable job that's less stressful that seems a little bit I don't know if I want to say daunting but it's a process absolutely so do you then continue to work with people while they're doing I mean it almost seems like and call me back in three months when you've done that you know what I mean? It's like really depends it really depends this has this has happened quite a few times where client comes to me because they want to they want to step into their dream career they want to discover what they want to be when they grow up but they're so so so so so miserable where they are that they can't even think about that until they find something else other times they could do that work while still keeping one eye on the dream career sort of work. So we just it's nice because in a one on one capacity, they set their own pace so it's not like it's a group program, and they have to keep up with, you know, this homework's do this day in the summer sun, we're going to keep moving on whether you're with us or not, obviously, one on one it's, much more based on the client's time line. Uh, and some people want that accountability and like, okay, how do I now got a new job that I'm gonna like more? And I have to say, and this is worth saying to all of you at home, uh, I heard statistics a while ago that something like eighty five percent of the jobs that are not that are available are not post sted on line, they don't even make it there they are done by connections by personal connections. So I think because there are so many people looking for work that when a company has a position open, they know if they posted online, they're going to be inundated with candidates that they have to go through, so what they do for first is they tell their friends they tell their employees they say this is what's open do you guys have anyone to recommend and they're taking those referrals seriously so sometimes yes it's very daunting and interviewing us horrible finally job is horrible, but sometimes it takes a lot shorter then we think it wouldn't our head because I make sure my clients like the only thing that they're doing is being on monster credulous everyday like they're not doing that with me so where we're updating the resume sometimes I see send them to brooklyn resume studios, which is a great uh, great like resume revamp sort of place they'll help you with that uh and they're redoing the resume they're working on their cover letter and they send out an a p b they sent out an all points bulletin to everyone that they know and trust saying, this is what I'm looking to transition to this is a type of job that I want those people know them know their skill set no their personality type those people are going to be the ones that are enthusiastic to say oh, I know someone who has a position like that alright oh, I know you want to work with the chocolate company I know someone actually a very good friend who's dating a guy who owns a chocolate company in brooklyn it's like so ridiculous and hilarious but you know, we don't know that until we ask and I think the other thing we have to say about that too is that it we'll have a tendency to not get specific with what we want, especially when we're finding a job out of desperation well say like here's my resume please give me anything at all please find any job for me I will take it and that actually ends up not being so efficient and effective believe it or not solely because not only do you look really desperate, but it doesn't let the bell ring and someone's mind right so it's like if you tell them this is type of company I want or this is an environment that I want or hear my values or here is my skill set, you know everything that we've been working on here here's what's important to me in a work environment when I'm low going to transition into a cz well a cz here the responsibilities or the particular title I don't even think it need that then that's going to ring the bells for the other person? S o I'm going off your question a little bit, but I still think that was all kind of important to say s so it depends on the client, it depends on how soul sucking their job is, but I actually I've never had a client be like okay, you need a new job so then go get one and then come back to me like we're always working on it in tandem we might just we might do some rescheduling or shuffling around of the sessions but like you know paula uh, who was here yesterday with us? She she got a new job I think right after we wrapped up our sessions but she was looking throughout and still doing her own work because thankfully, even though she had a three to four hour commute and a toddler at home and a job she didn't really like she was able to separate that still do the work anyway, anything going on in the shadow even checked in over there in a while what's interesting comment this come up there there's quite an interesting conversation right now and wanna be fearless has made a comment and I'm interested to hear your take on what they're saying the importance of networking you have covered that already, but they're saying their recommendation is that you stalk the person who does the hiring until you make it happen I don't think that's so strong I really want to hear a za coach you're on, maybe we can I think my stock is such a scary word like I wish there was another word there I wouldn't I don't suggest stalking anyone yeah pursue right or or approach yes you know and I hear all the time tio especially with like you know hot startup contino google and apple and whatever startup sort of um companies like you want to impress them and you want introduce yourself so I think the best way is always trying to find a personal connection so if you have someone else that that person knows that can introduce to you that's the best way to go about it but if you really want a job in a certain place and you know that it's opening available you could go about beyond to be like I'm I'm going to put I'm going to put together a website that just talks about why on the best person for this job I'm going to make a youtube video that shows them and that has testimonials and that like what can you do to show that you're the right candidate for that job and you could go above and beyond and do something really big just for that company and hopefully make that impression without being a crazy stalker on either they're going toe call you were there not I think really longer term meaningful connections and relationships count more than anything so if you know that there's company that you really want to work for and you find the head of hr on lengthen try to make a connection try to tell them about yourself but then maybe they're on twitter and maybe you start answering their tweets or maybe they have a blogger and you start commenting like we're doing it in a way where they're starting to get to know you that's how to do it as opposed to stalking anyone in scaring them that would be pretty pretty bad yes also I found through recruiters on I've gone to them they've said you know these are the jobs we posted you're interested in but what other companies do you like? I can reach out to them even if they don't have jobs posted and that's so perfect and great we don't realize that a lot of the time so doing this work could not only get you clear on what may be your entrepreneurial our creative dream career is but it could get you just to be able to articulate all of these things to a recruiter or two you know company and this is what I'm passionate about and these are the type of places that I would be interested in working at jennifer and then I read something else too that was really good about um finding the person in charge of whatever way that means you know of a place that you feel that you would love to work and since you know successful people are busy bee thinking proactively about what that hersant might need that you continue providing them you know, free of service in the beginning or whatever it is going to say like I bet you know, if I analyze this for this person and delivered it to them and said, you know, yeah, I mean, not literally no noting in those few hours right on that actually brought an example to mine, and I have a friend who she recently let me read a letter that she wrote, I think it was to yell like years ago that she was on yell all the time, and she just started noticing things that they could be doing better that were in her wheelhouse, and she spent a few hours putting together an email that said, like, hi, I'm so and so I'm on your site all the time, blah, blah, here's what I think you guys need to be looking into and the future and lava here ten points of things that I would want to dio if I were to be working with you on this past today, thanks so much. I don't think she knew anyone like she didn't she didn't know she didn't have a personal connection at all that she found the right person to send it to, and they called her and put her on a plane and she flew out to talk to them, and I think they ended up offering her a job that she didn't take, but it was still like you could go do the work right to showcase your skills on what it is you're doing so that's a great, great great post about that exact thing last night. I mean it's so powerful, right? If you want to target companies that you want to work with, really get to know them in that way, right? A block post and make sure it goes to someone but in it and a helpful yes, you know, an unhelpful sort of in the spirit of collaboration and co working. This is what could make you stronger, right? And typically that's the client that you'll get I mean, if you think about it let's, let's, compare, like, am be right, so I get e mails all the time that immediately go into my trash cannot say like, dear michelle or dear owner, you know, I I'm really great at sdo I'm the owner of this ceo company I could help with your ceo if you would like warrant details, please call me well, no, no, no, no, no, thank you. Nothing. I'm like I'm not even respond, right? But if I got something that said hi, michelle, some something personal about me that makes me think that they know who I am and what I do on my website. I've actually been looking at your site on google and I've been looking at your google rankings or I've been looking at how fast your page loads or I've been looking at certain key words that you should pop up in that you don't and I just wanted to let you know that if you you know, do your ceo so that you focus on these key words and you run a google ads like this it would really bring more people to your site. Thanks so much for letting me look at this for you there you go it's kind of a gift here I am if you want to reach out like why wouldn't I talk to that person if that's something that I felt I needed when invest in so that's really the difference here? So you know it was a big one thing in a traditional way to have a passionate grownup career that is me. So I hope that you all felt your career lens wide and after hearing from leslie after seeing all of these examples of renaissance souls if it's good enough for oprah, then it is good enough for us the right s so we could have a passionate career, we could have a grown up career, they could coexist in a way that gives us all the things we need as a grown up and allows us to make some money so we're going back okay we're going to start a quick exercise called chief career contemplation which is similar in a way too for your consideration because we're spelling out now like that pros and cons of each career based on what you've learned about yourself and what you're looking at again it's not what you are committing to dio at all right? So we want to hear what's on the short list of careers to consider it might have gotten even shorter after the for your consideration exercise right? I don't know if jenny like I know you didn't have time but do you still feel like you're considering twelve like for riel no but I'm probably considering like four okay least okay fantastic so we know okay that's like a shorter less what do you think before our um a teacher, huh? Minutes keep doing pattern design um I'm going to forget oh, I want to look at writing either being an author or writing for like maybe an online cool magazine something like that fantastic and if oh and um stationery I do it a little bit now but I want to actually like for real do it for real do it oh my gosh, I love it what about the rest of you guys I want to hear and I want to hear it in the chat to as people people answer what's on the short list right now that they're trying to get it down to shortly some of them saying it's a long list so keep keep getting it short, okay, yes, but I'm going to also show you how tio how to filter it out even a little bit more but if you didn't do for your consideration in the last segment like go do that that's going to help you take a list of twelve to four and in a much kind of easier way or just do a freakin as alexandra france and likes to say ah hut check ah gut and a heart check and just think of what is equally scary and exciting for you and just go like that that's it that's it that's it I came up with a new one yeah, tell us I mean, I really just do this. I could do portrait's and head shots for social media and for blog's for people who are just getting started and I could actually write their bio pages and do a little bit of a sales and marketing overhaul for them about themselves since it's so hard for people creative people especially to write about themselves well and then john you could do an interview on their creative process wakes, then highlight your clients as well as your own word on if I want to take the next like someone style them and make up in here and you could give him fart filtering underwear if yukio gets creative process e I think I've narrowed down the most exciting path harm me right now and it goes back to the swag analyzed are so interested in something I just smis because it sounds ridiculous but I'm actually pretty knowledgeable about swag on I came up with a list like a full page of just like content that I could write people I could interview uh tips possibly e books that sort of thing that I could put out there that I think don't come easily to people which goes into what jasmine was saying like you don't realize what you have someone else may not so always always right I think a lot of times we talk ourselves out of something because we say well I wouldn't pay for that you know why you would pay for it because you could do it really really really well and there's no reason for you to face that one for that so those sorts of things of what wouldn't I pay for that could be really great I love that you're looking at that more seriously swag analyzer like just does it feels a little cookie to you uh it does because I think it's like the joke of the office right like another box came in for you like how much money did you spend what is this thing um everyone has an opinion on what it should be so anxious saying an anxious day jennifer to do it and then I also think too because you're I know that you like variety so much it's like that that could be one piece and then you could still be doing your bed and breakfast kind of review thing that you were talking about us well travel, travel and photographs and like really interest saying yeah, I wonder if that would partly itself to until, like you go to different event I would think yeah oh yeah like conventions oh my gosh and she likes networking events so if you're already going to these events in your getting a swag bag, it could be really great like phase one experimentation exploration too just like start a vlog where your talent where you're saying this is what I got at this event and there's, you know, here's my thoughts and opinions and any other sort of research or like really great left brain stuff that we know you're really good s so interesting, teo, I soon you're doing it in fiji or wherever you're holding her at bay for castillo family companies might, you know, really latched onto that and I'm one of those that's interested in keeping my day job or like working with you because I do just like marketing so I think this works with that absolutely and megan collins is someone you should keep your eye on because I feel like there's a lot of similarities here that could parlay itself into corporate sponsors she's actually oh, I forgot the name of the company but they have different people they do monthly or quarterly subscription boxes but you subscribe to a certain person they have like thirty people on their site and you pick so you would subscribe to meghan's box and then every time I think it's called quarterly actually huh? Every quarter you got a box from megan that has her pics in it on and so that could be really interesting that like I don't know maybe could start offering your own boxes or something of like yes, jenna swag and like this is what you've love that you've picked up check it out check it out what what's going on in the shower what are people saying? We've got a lot of people contributing here now first of all, it's just winterbourne who said they didn't think they could get it down to a shortlist but they actually have done well but they do say mine is never realistic because it changes every week but regardless what they came up with ah now I've completely lost it now they're so blogger not exactly sure would on a comic mango creator, a fashion costume designer or a web designer what did we say yesterday? You could d'oh everything you want, but not all at once. We could remember that those are all very related to each other, though, so, you know, being an artist or an illustrator and designer, then that could be, you know, your title wrapped up in a neat little bow, and then you just kind of change your offerings. Yeah, really? Amanda sue is saying a speaker, a fashion designer, but I don't know how to get there yet. And a singer. So three quite different things, you know, but I when I'm not stoned, okay, the singing, maybe, but singing and speaking, you could you could sing as a speaker, but a fashion fashion designer that obviously, if you're a fashion designer, you could speak about your process, or you could speak about your lied or you so there's way to waste too tight. And unless she's saying, I want to speak about puppies or something, that would that would be a little bit little bit tougher. So we're looking at these five questions. What about this career? Might be fun. What about it gives you pause? How does it fit in with your career puzzle pieces, right? What else do you need to learn about it to help you decide if it something to pursue so that column of questions and for your consideration how does it make you feel to think about doing this as your career let's do a rapid fire ready I want I'm gonna call in each and every single freakin one ofyou on we're going to answer these questions so fast with the first thing that you could think of like we're just gonna go go go go go you ready? I'm starting with you jenny right here ready so what career are we looking at with this well teaching well stick with it crow she teaching what about this might be fun it would be fun during the class like we would do fun things and we could laugh and make it like fun to dio what about it gives you pause got the teaching part I don't know yeah, just that whole part how does it fit in with your career puzzle pieces? Oh, that I was writing on there about doing things in a group and doing multiple things and having different streams of revenue and stuff like that and challenging oh in challenging yeah show yes, what else do you need to learn about it to help me decide if it's something to pursue uh uh what I'm actually going to teach in that whole process like if I would be good at teaching how does it make you feel to think about doing this is your career scared scared yeah, I like it okay, jennifer you're up next what career we're talking about uh let's talk about a co creator of awesomeness fantastic. What about this might be fun other than everything everything? Everything everything what about it gives you pause money okay, how does it fit in with your career puzzle pieces? Uh it fits in really? Really well, what else do you need to learn about it to help you decide if it's something to pursue how to be a coach how does it make you feel to think about doing this? Is your career super excited? Hey, love it jenna what are we talking about with career idea we talking about swag analyzer? Yeah, that what about this might be fun opening gifts like it's christmas every day all the time. What about it gives you pause? It has a lot of I mean, it's just like those lego pieces it's just been building on itself, so but the general concept is, you know, I've been really bummed about kind of like how happiness has been going down in general in my universe, at least by all people. So I've been wanting to build something holistic that would help bring up fun and happy and play time while being educated, and I think the style and, you know, the fashion, the community bringing people together, potentially a video game in there uh, holistic fun advocate, yeah, right. And having a center for it and having some real guidance and actually being like the person toe have those conversations. Oh, okay. So what about this? This class was sooo incredibly fun and inspiring. It was wonderful to meet Michelle and interact with her in person. She is warm, kind, approachable and genuinely passionate about helping creatives find a career they can love. Having been raised to believe that the only route to a secure retirement was to find a job with a pension or, at least, a good 401k, this class gave me the courage to believe that I could do work I love and still finance a fabulous life in retirement. It also put things in perspective because it helped me to see that I deserve to be happy as much as anyone else who has carved a successful niche for themselves doing work they feel good about. And, it reminded me that if I try something and discover it isn't the right fit, the worse that can happen is that I go find that job with a pension at that point. So what? Why not me? Amen! xoxo, Jen

My dad used to tell me, "You don't get to do what you love. You just learn to love what you do." For years and years, I've been wandering from job to job wondering why I just wasn't feeling the love, no matter how much I learned to be good at what I do. Although, I tried to resign myself to the idea that work would always be something to dread day in and day out, I couldn't help but day dream about the elusive "perfect" job! I searched for years for tests or counselors who could help give me some direction as to what I would be good at and just before I lost hope, I found this class. I snuck it in during work on my cellphone (shh don't tell lol) and was running back to my desk when I had to be pulled away. It's nice to know someone understands what I've been going through and Michelle's energy is just so positive and motivating that I know that I can make things happen! I watched the free live broadcast but even before the end of day 1 I knew this class was a resource I'll gladly pay for! I would and have recommended this class to many people I know feel the same way I do! Changed my life! We're not made to fit into a mold so why not create your dream career! My review in one word? Amazeballs!

I purchased this course and made sure to finish it before 2015 started. It was so easy to go through the course and I made sure to be diligent in actually doing the activities and homework. I never knew there were other MULTI-PASSIONATE out there like me! I thought I was just a confused human being who needs to figure out her life! Haha! Michelle's energy and passion to help others are so eminent in the way she presents and guides us. I love the setting of Creative Live as well because I felt involved with the studio audience despite having to watch these sessions by myself. :) I learned so much about myself, about how I can incorporate my multiple interests into a unique ball of career perfectly molded for me, by me. All thanks to the help and wisdom of Michelle's experiences and talents. What a great end of 2014 and a great way to start 2015! THIS COURSE IS WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY. :)
