Thank you very much. Thank you. So we've asked karen to come back out because karen has had a very successful experience through social media in her business, and she started, as we mentioned earlier in the class that she started in nineteen ninety three, and so social media really wasn't in effect back then. And so how have you adapted carrying with what's happening in the social media world to your home party business? Well, I love that you mentioned that there wasn't a lot of social media, in fact, I didn't even learn tio email, I don't know if there was even I don't write I don't know if there was we used to get the mail orders, remember, yes, I mail, but my orders into the office in an envelope? Exactly. And so, really, before I talk about how I've used social media, I wanted to point that out that I have kind of learned from the ground, and so a lot of people come in and think I don't I know enough about social media to make that successful in my business and it's really not hard...
, it really isn't on dso. It did start with email. For me, that was like a major set learning to email my down line all those years ago and as social media has evolved, I have tried really hard to stay on the cutting edge with that. But before we talk about me let's talk about the company and I were talking about what the company does with social media. If you are already a close to my heart customer or fan, maybe already follow us on social media close to my heart has a beautiful blawg that's make it from your heart dot com which you can enter right from close to my heart dot com we also have twitter handles and instagram and so many different forms of social media so close to my heart does a lot for their consultants by advertising the company in general and I really do send my customers to all those places so that they can see all the beautiful things that close to my heart puts out there for us all the time. So that's there and that's also think about is cars uscis consultants what the company does for us or allows us to dio they do provide for us a website where customers can order twenty four seven even in their jammies I love that I love it when I wake up in the morning and I have a little notification that I've received and order while I was sleeping away or out on a date with my husband it's awesome so that's a great perk as well with social media as a as a consultant I do have a blogged about blogged I have a facebook page for my customers I have a facebook page for my team I do instagram and all of those things help me spread the word of my business as I have developed those and a regular poster on those several times a week I have attracted people I've never met in person which is I think the beauty of social media going yeah finitely and in fact I just had someone signed up under me who have never never met before never spoken to before she found me by searching online for artwork so it's it's been a great experience for me to incorporate social media into my business? It is a commitment I do set aside time for it each week and each month and so that I know exactly what's posting and when but it's not as hard as people think and it's actually a really fun and close to my heart has really let you all just define who you are on social media we don't have a lot of rules per se on what can and can't be posted because you are an independent consultant and this should be a representation of you and your art right so I'm really proud of that fact that we're not very strict on those rules because we want to spread the word that is that is close to my heart well and I appreciate that because anyone who does follow me knows I share a lot about my family I really am proud of my family and and I love that people who come to me as a consultant feel like they know me and know my family so it has given me the freedom tio two brand myself in my business in a way that shows who I am and I love that I love that too I really do and I'm a huge social media fan and love having that connection and also always bringing people back to close to my heart and what a life changing experience that canary and of course the inspiration that could be found on social media is tremendous so if you feel like you've been inspired through this class I promise you just even go to our block our follow us on pinterest you will see the amazing inspiration that we have and how the consultants themselves post under our specific hash tags that we give all of our paper packets and you can see artwork created so for instance here I have the charlotte workshop right here and so by looking up the hashtag see teammate charlotte then you will see other other ideas using the charlotte workshop kit

I have been stamping, making cards, for 10+ years but only found out about ctmh last year. I love, love, love your clear stamps. They are great to use and easy to store. These classes inspire me and get me all excited again about making cards. I just recently got a circuit, so much to learn. I've got to get me a ctmh cartridge!!!
