Final Words of Advice
I don't want you to be scared about your lettering project I want you to know that you have tools and you have no how that you maybe didn't have before but more than that after this class I want you to feel good about oh so the way I did it was ok or you know, me being myself is okay um, because it isthe and we need you, we need your voice, we need the way you do thinks you know, it would be a bummer if we didn't get to see what you're capable of creating, you know, and it would be a bomber if we don't get to see your handwriting will be a bomber teo know that we didn't get toe feel the texture of the way you put your hand across the paper and the way you made things it's important to the rest of the world that your voice is heard and that your grit and you're feeling in your heart is felt so we've gone over three different methods of custom lettering, so we got a fast one we manipulate existing fun. We've got a personal one when we do it by hand and scan, then we got the more involved...
long term, completely original one when we talk about illustrating original letter forms, so these air three methods and a bunch of little hand drawn tools that we'll help you and your project's moving forward, and when you have something that comes in, find that motivator and find that little thing that's in there being like, oh, I know I'm gonna do this I'm gonna do it my own way. I'm gonna do it with this new technique that I've learned and that's going to be the motivator is gonna push you through but you got to stay passionate about this. You've got to stay dedicated to it. You got to say structure you can frolic in the field, but give that give it a time in a place so, um, you know, thank you for spending this time with me. Thank you for ah, you know, playing along and being involved in interacting with me on this. I hope you learned something. I hope that hopefully you're more exciting about writing letters. And I think I hope that you have more confidence and bring him in the computer and being able to manipulate everything and know that if you do bad handwriting on your paper, it doesn't necessarily end up is bad handwriting on the finished product. So so this is my, uh, you know custom letter class I hope you enjoyed it and brand how can people get in touch with you? Brandon right dot com I've got a lot of work on brandon wreck dot com you can actually go and search by client or you can I mean there's a database of work on there so you can check all that stuff out my dribble page, I put a lot of work that I really like my dribble page, the dribble dot com backslash brandon, right? Yeah, so, um I'm around I'm not hard to find on their, um, you know, feel free to e mail me or whatever if you ever have questions or you're stumped on something. Um, yeah, I uh I love doing this passionate about doing it. I think that has graphic designers we forget that we have one of those really cool jobs that we get to have fun with and that uses our talent and not everybody gets that privilege toe they they don't do the job because they're talented and if they do the job just because that's the job they chose, but we have artistic talent and we shouldn't let it go to waste like we need to do something with this and we need to stay passionate about this and we have to fight to stay excited because the world wants to bomb us out
