Compression

Compression compression is a dynamic audio processing tool used to control the dynamic range of audio signals. It reduces the volume of louder parts of the signal while leaving quieter parts unaffected, resulting in a more consistent and balanced sound. Let's now have a look at the compression controls. So let's add the compressor effect onto the snare track. So let's click on add audio effect and then let's tap on dynamics and now let's choose compressor. Now let's have a look at the details view of the compressor by selecting this effect and tapping, show details threshold. This determines the level at which compression begins to act any signal that exceeds the threshold will be compressed ratio. This sets the amount of compression applied to the signal. For example, a ratio of 4 to 1 means that for every four DB that exceeds the threshold, the output signal will only be increased by one DB attack. This controls how quickly compression is applied after the signal exceeds the threshol...
