in this chapter, we're going to talk about messenger marketing which is how to drive leads using a chat bot. Here's the data you need to know about why this is affected. So chatbots get eight times higher open rates than email. They get 4-5 times better engagement rates. And the cost of acquisition for buying a lead is 123 times cheaper. It's very similar to email where you can do drip campaigns email blast. It's just a different platform. The reason why it works is because the average person gets over 100 emails per day. But the average Facebook user only has 375 friends. So email. Yes, there's a platform where you can sell but it's become very busy. I get some emails from businesses I've never even heard of before. I don't know how they got my email but somewhere along the line maybe I gave it to them, maybe they script a site to get it or bought it from someone else.
