Lesson Info

Finding Your Voice

We're starting with the story, which we which we just finished. So you learned on how sort of even the toughest of circumstances of the big transformation can be used to talk about what's going on with you. So in once we clear what the brand is once we clear what our story is and how we are talking about it. It's time to broadcast the message and one off the most important things about broadcasting is blogging. So you have to find a way to take what you are all about and put that in your voice. So we we went through all the different elements that are out there in the universe, you know, from from google from updates from videos from, you know, all the different elements are available to you to choose from to tell your story in a format that's comfortable to you. So you've already selected three of these formats that you said you were very comfortable with. The one thing nobody gets around is blogging. Blogging is important for many, many different reasons because it keeps reiterating ...

a point. It shares your personal story over and over and over again, so people are reminded that you're not just the machine that's cranking out. Key word s e o friendly block pose but that you really have a story to tell a mission to share and an impact to make so that's really, really important that your posts or your messages air using that you know that emotion that we you know, just saw earlier with cat where where we could really feel on how connected she was to making a change in telling stories that make people feel that really matter. So that kind of passion needs to be translated now in your messaging that goes out to the world so that the people that are searching for this particular skill that say yeah, we have pretty pictures but how do we make our picture stand out? Well, if people feel nothing when they're looking at them, they're not standing out it's just another pretty picture so how do we do that? So can we find somebody who can help us to identify what really portrays thie emotion? So and now you need to talk about it in such a way that the people can find you that are looking for that because I said we need the specialist thie authority on the subject off telling stories that make people feel not think feel so thie knowledge is prepared in bite sized chunks so there's a particular blogging formula that I have that I am sharing with you of course in the workbook and the you know again, we said what's easiest to you has the most value, so if you know to stay with the example of cats, so if cat can tell the difference between what is a pretty picture following some technical qualifications and a picture that makes you feel, then it is so easy for her that she doesn't have to think about it. She needs to share that because that's what's most valuable for everybody else because people call like, yeah, I mean, I really is it a good picture? Is it a good picture? Is it a good picture? Does it make me feel anything? I am I looking at this and going while especially in the age of instagram, where it's like filter central aside, yeah, it's a cool picture, but is it a good picture that makes me feel so there's a difference? Who is who is qualified to talk about this? You're qualified to talk about because we just established that within that you know, transformation that you're going through, something is in there that needs to be needs week come out and verbalized.

Beate Chelette delivered so much value with so much style and grace that it was a "no-brainer" decision on the 2nd day -- I needed to own "Grow Your Business as the Authority In Your Space"! This is material I can really go back to and mine for nuggets over and over -- PLUS, I can't wait to get a closer look at the workbook (and start trying out the exercises of course!). Beate's surprisingly broad expertise coupled with her polish and professionalism made each day's programming a true joy to watch. She is a wonderful role model for all of us nascent women entrepreneurs -- and obviously, men will find her lessons just as empowering. Thank you, CreativeLive and a special thank you to Beate Chelette!

Outstanding lessons and advice on how to make your sales become real. The advice on how to link yourself to others via Linked-In is compelling and easy to begin. I like her advice about doing at least 1 thing every day for your business. Barry L Walton
