Sharing Skills on Your Profile

So sharing your skills on five. So you can see here, we've got, you know, brand strategy, brand development, brand, identity design, brand management, brand strategy or business strategy, brand design, company branding. You can see here that everything is focused around branding because that is my area of expertise, anything in the branding realm. That's what I ultimately can help and provide support with. Now, if I had, you know, brand strategy, um brand, local design, um graphic design, brochure design, I can do all of those things like I can do graphic design, brochure design, menu design, website development, I can do all those things, but I'm not trying to sell everything to everybody. I'm trying to offer brand development related services to businesses that need branding. That is ultimately the the the difference between freelancers that understand how to communicate to their clients and freelancers who just want to try and sell a service. You have to understand that if you actua...

lly want to be taken seriously as a freelancer on fiver, you need to be an expert at one specific thing. If I go to someone's profile and they are offering animation on one side of the spectrum and then also they're offering menu design or logo design, they can do both those things. But I know for a fact, I know for a fact that they're not going to be great at both things. Right. Because they, they're quite different animation. Like I'm terrible at animation. Right. I'm terrible. They, they, they're probably, you know, ok, at both and they can offer me the service, but they're not going to be great. That's a difference. So you have to find something and decide something that you are very specifically good at and then double down on that one single thing because if you try and be the best at everything or just, you know, try and try and sell as many services as possible, people are going to be always comparing you based on price and not your expertise. So keep that in mind and I will see you in the next lesson.
