Class Wrap Up

thank you so much for joining me for experimental photography mobile and I hope you learned a lot. It was kind of a fun class. I hope talking about experimental versus concept photography process. I think the big takeaway here is one be flexible, realize that you can go from a mobile device to a ipad which is also mobile to a desktop seamlessly. And maybe consider that your capture, you know using light room mobile which is a capture device but also a dark room in your hand is no different than going to your ipad with light room or heck fire going from your ipad in light room to Photoshop on the ipad or your desktop. Because here's what I think if you allow yourself that flexibility of going between applications and devices, your previous activity will expand exponentially. And I hope you were inspired by some of the people's work I showed you. And who says photography can't be illustrative look or illustration is a digital illustration is a photography. I think these terms are blendin...

g now anymore. And um don't forget you have lots of camera options so you can capture with different cameras which give you completely different looks and flexibility. And then when you're using your apps, heck Fire tribe two or three go from let's say capturing and the light room processing to prisma and then back to tintype or pink can why not? And then go back into Photoshop and add some lines. I mean the possibilities are endless and because of that I'm also going to suggest that you experiment, give yourself the freedom to just play. I mean, I will tell you when I just was goofing around with next year's, I just found a whole new avenue of expression that I'm able to use and that was because I was goofing off. It was not precious, it was just fun. And these mobile devices really can free you up. I think for that kind of thinking and be brave. Get your work out there, show your stuff on the hands, tell a story. It's so much more interesting when you put you into your work and tell a personal story. I think you'll find that the response you get from the community is pretty special and not to get too preachy, but I think when you're working on your expression and really selling something from your soul, your work, it's that much better. Um, again, I'm lisa Carney. You can find me at lisa lisa Carney dot com. I'm on B hands. I have a bunch of mobile photography courses here on creative live, You can check them out if you're interested in a bit more nuts and bolts classes. That boot camp class has a lot of capturing how to is kind of taking you through the process anyway. Get be brave, get out there and shoot, share your work and I'll see you guys in the future. Thank you so much for joining us

Good course. A lot of good tips and ticks. I thought there would be more on using different props to create different effects....A little disappointed that Mextures and PaintCan is only available on iPhone not on Android.....

This class really helped open my eyes to the potential of mobile photography. Now I know some new apps and ways of using my existing apps to take my mobile photography in a fun, new and more artistic direction.

Oh Lisa, what would we do without you? You are one of the main reasons I keep coming back to Creative Live. If anyone is relatively new to either mobile photography or Photoshop - push through the zones where you feel a bit lost. One of the absolute joys of Lisa's teaching is that she addresses all levels of students in one go - there is always something as an instant takeaway, and always more to sink in on future viewings.
