Class Introduction
Today what we're gonna be talking about is about discovering your super skill. This is about learning how to identify really and communicate sort of what your natural strength is and maybe you've had this experience, that somebody says to you, well, why would I even hire you? Or, why are you right for the job? And they expect like this glorious speech that you're able to give just like that about how awesome you are and you're like, well, that's like bragging, that feels really awkward, right? This is what we're gonna be doing today is we're going to be really getting that awkwardness out and helping you to talk about this, just in a regular, normal conversation where you get to shine without that weirdness that so many of us experience. This is a quote I'd like to start with, which is really, is like my guiding light in life, right? It's all about taking control. The future is in the best capable hands, which is your own. When you know the skill set and when you have the language, and...
you have all the tools that you need, then the rest is sort of easy. It's only in the not knowing how that the awkwardness exists, or the people feeling that they can't master something, so everything in my eyes, in my opinion is learnable as long as you get the right and good information. To me, that is my task for today is to really help you, and assist you, and support you in identifying what exactly that is. Again, welcome, you are in the right place and when we talk about what's possible for you, so number one, what's possible? It is possible to live a balanced life and balance is not just sort of the balance that you feel, sort of with the work life balance, but also where you yourself feel in balance, 'cause life, you know or the work place, it's always a push and pull. No day is like any other. How do you find a balance like within yourself and within your colleagues, and at work? And, there's so many elements that go into this so we talk about this today as well because there's only one you, and we may as well take care of the whole you and not just a career-oriented, competitive kind of skill set. This is really about looking at the whole person. Then, there is leadership. I believe leadership is sort of slumbers within all of us and it's a skill set again that can be learned that we are uncovering. Again, when you know what you need to do or what even is leadership? And how can you utilize some of that? That is within your possibility to become a leader in your own life, in your workplaces, in your businesses, wherever that might be for you. Then, support and before we go live in here in the studio, we always have a little intention setting and what I really loved about the crew and the team today is that everybody said, well, we're here to support you and I'm here to support them as well. And that's what support is, it's not just about you supporting everybody else but it's also about you knowing how to ask and get that right support so you get to be at a 100% yourself. And then, finally when all these places, these things are in place, balance, and leadership, and support, collaboration is a natural conclusion to your, to whatever it is you're trying to do because you are fully grounded in yourself, you're in your heart space, and it's easy for you to communicate what it is that needs to be done, to get the job done, for you to be happy and pay attention to everybody else. Specifically today, we are going to be addressing how are you going to be showcasing your best skill? The second thing we're going to do is, we're gonna examine on how that possibly leads to better opportunities because yeah, so what? So you know what you're really good at but what are you gonna even do with that? How do you utilize that? What's in it for you if you have this information? We are going to think about how leaders and bosses think. How can you understand what they want? Because that's really the whole trick to advancement is when you know what they're looking for and I bet that you and maybe many of our viewers out there said, if I only would know what they want, then I could actually give it to them but they're not telling me what they want, so how could I possibly deliver that? We are going and crawling into the heads of the bosses today as well, for you to really understand what even is it that this person wants? Or, if you're a business owner it is what does the client want? Because if you're fulfilling, if you're an entrepreneur, a business owner, you're thinking about well, I would like to give them what they want from me, but I don't even know what it is and they often times don't even have to communicate to that to you. That's also an important skill set. You will know what your super skill is, or you will at least will be in the very close vicinity to what your super skill is. Finally, I can guarantee you one thing, at the end of this you will know how to speak with a lot more confidence. What you get with this course is the workbook and here is a cover and you see our live audience also has a copy of the workbook. When you download the workbook you have some material in there that you will not be finding on the slides, so to get the maximum impact, I recommend that you just follow along in the workbook and do the exercises as recommended and we will take you through this here with the live audience and then you'll just take whatever time you need separately to complete the exercises. Whenever you see this particular slide, let's grow and explore, that is your cue that we are now going to the workbook. All right so time to dive in. The term I coined for what I do is called balanced leadership. Balanced leadership is as I said early, not just your own balance, but it's also the balance of male, female. It's also the balance of equality, diversity, is thinking about, what does every person bring to the whole team? Because when we are growing up, we are being taught that we have to pay attention to all the things we're not good at it. I think that that's really, really kind of wrong, because if you are naturally good at something and you could shine at that, why doesn't everybody tell you to really work on that particular skill a lot more so you could shine brighter? The only we time we see that's really done is with athletes, if somebody has an athletic ability, or is really good soccer, basketball, football, tennis, somehow that seems to work but on a skill set, on maybe reading Excel spreadsheets, maybe natural knack for leading people, maybe breaking down complex processes, somehow there is this like weird thing, where it's like yeah, you did really good leading the team, but you gotta work on your Excel spreadsheet. Why? Why not find somebody on your team that's really good at that, and then, in the balanced leadership, if you bring people in that have skill sets that complement each other, can you even imagine the type of team we would be having? The idea of my method, so I've developed this whole system and the system is called Growth Architecture and it is the 5 Star Success Blueprint. In the workbook, I've given you sort of a very detailed explanation of what it is, which I will not be doing live, I'm just gonna take you sort of through the motions so you know what it is. But in the first step of Growth Architecture we talk about how we take a talent and we turn it into a business, we turn it into a career. The second step is how to sell more and feel good about it. And this is like once you know what it is that you're doing, the second step is what are you gonna be selling, and how are you going to be selling it? The third step is authority platform building, that's now you're gonna have to tell everybody what it is that you're actually doing. The first, turn your talent into a business and the authority platform building are actual CreativeLife courses so if you are interested in that, you can go in the catalog and check those courses out. What we are doing here today, we are now in the fourth step of Growth Architecture, which is called the women's code. The women's code is all about leadership, it's all about all the attributes a leader needs to possess. It's all about how do I build myself as a person to be at my 100%? Not anybody else's, but who you truly are, who do you wanna be? Who you can be. Then, finally the fifth step of Growth Architecture is then when we do growth strategies, that's when we see how we're going to double, triple, quadruple numbers in businesses or on an income level but today we are only in step number four, which is the women's code.
