O.A.R. Live Show Intro
Hello and welcome to the c l stage this is away our live on creative live special welcome to all of you are tuning in on the other creative live channels. We've got a special treat for you today from the band o a r I'm really looking forward to this. They're going to talking a little bit about their new album, the rockville lp, so we're going to get right into it and we're going to talk to you a little bit about the upcoming album. We're gonna show you a video that kind of tells you a little bit about what's been going into the album and jump into a song from the band this year, I spent the thanksgiving holiday week back home in maryland with family and friends on for the first time since high school I was completely in the moment holy present I hope I don't wanna find no body pretty cool man there some sick eighties, early way home you know, we grew up here. We wanted to come back to reconnect with their families. Their friends so way came up writing songs about two worlds one right o...
utside our front door and then another fictional faced with endless roads and curious characters, way hoped would take us across the globe and back on they did way playing music with my friends I mean best friends, you know, childhood friends, we're blessed that seventeen years later that we're still doing this. This room to me used to look like it was stadiums way spent years on these roads, it's in and out of towns through shady groves over great mt, living out the stories we've invented in the basement after school. No, we're not in school or a rock and roll band always felt something tugging at our sleeves to come home and check back in, feel like it's time to get in the car, drive down the roads, were raised on and see what we find out about ourselves. Wait, climate is electrified way we're not the same. You don't want to be for merely muddy branches on someone I mean that's. What? This album is sitting on the driveway with people, you know, trading stories about places you've been that's home, that's, right? Won't you want me want peace? This is seriously like a dream come true. I wanted to do this my whole life since I was a little kid.
